Week 9: Integration (Recovery)

Phase 2: Identity

"Small steps. Not big leaps."

George's Story

After the first two months of internal work — the seeing, the grieving, the inventorying — I was exhausted.

Not physically. Mentally. Emotionally.

I'd confronted a lot of uncomfortable truths. I'd let go of an identity I'd held for years. I'd mapped out my assets and my weaknesses.

And I needed to let it settle.

So I took a week off. Not from everything — I still showed up, still did the basics. But I stopped processing. I stopped analyzing. I just... existed.

Why This Matters

Most people skip this step.

They do a bunch of internal work, get excited about the insights, and immediately try to act on them. Build something. Start something. Move.

And then they burn out. Or they make decisions based on half-processed emotions. Or they build something that doesn't actually fit who they are.

The pause matters.

What I Want You to Do

This week is lighter. On purpose.

Go back and read your notes from Phase 1 and Phase 2. The articles you found. The numbers you calculated. The bio you wrote. The inventory you made.

Let it sit together.

Notice what stands out. Notice what feels different now than it did when you wrote it.

If you want company during the review, talk with someone you already know. This is optional; the archive does not provide a community feed.

There's no big task this week. Just integration.

We start moving next week. This week, you prepare.

This Week's Tasks

Days 57-60 — Review (20 min total)

Re-read your Phase 2 notes. Bio, inventory, layers.

Reflect (by Day 60):

"The biggest shift from Phase 1 to Phase 2 for me: ______"

Days 61-63 — Community

Take a quiet pause or talk with someone you already know about what you learned. You can offer support if they want it. This is optional and does not depend on a hosted community.
